Welcome to our website. Warwickshire and Birmingham Wing is part of the Central and East Region of the Air Training Corps within the Royal Air Force Air Cadets (RAFAC).
The Wing is comprised of 19 squadrons located across Birmingham, Coventry and Warwickshire. If you’re aged between 12 (+ in Year 8 at school) and 17, or an adult looking for adventure, why not take a look around the website to see what we do? We hope that you will find the website interesting and informative. You can also find us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter: simply search ‘Warwickshire and Birmingham Wing Air Training Corps’ or @wbwaircadets for up to date news on #WhatWeDo.
‘The Wing is very active; we offer a variety of activities throughout the year that cadets can enthusiastically take part in. I have an amazing team of dedicated staff who voluntarily give up their spare time to make sure that the cadets have the best possible opportunities.’
– Wing Commander Stuart Iles.
Warwickshire and Birmingham Wing is run by Wing Commander Stuart Iles who has been with the Wing for many years and is an experienced officer. Wing Commander Iles is based at our Wing Headquarters in Coventry but spends a lot of his time visiting squadrons and attending different Air Cadet activities. He is supported by a team of adult volunteers who are responsible for looking after each of the squadrons as well as key Corps activities.
