‘As a previous cadet of Warwickshire & Birmingham Wing and latterly Wing Staff, to be given the opportunity to command is something very special and fills me with excitement, pride, and enthusiasm, particularly because we are at one of the most exciting times in the Wing’s history. The coming year looks to be an amazing year of opportunities for staff and cadets, doing the activities and training that we love and going from strength to strength.’

Wing Commander Amanda Hobbins RAFAC

Warwickshire and Birmingham Wing is run by Wing Commander Amanda Hobbins who has been with the Wing for many years and is an experienced officer. Wing Commander Hobbins is primarily based at our Wing Headquarters in Coventry but spends a lot of her time visiting squadrons and attending different Air Cadet activities. She is supported by a well established and experienced team of adult volunteers who are responsible for looking after each of the squadrons as well as key Corps activities.
